Please let me know if this works and how well it works since I don't have a hanvon tablet to test it. It will keep the driver installed not mater how many updates. I noticed that there was no dkms package for the hanvon driver, so I made one for you and uploaded it to my ppa here: You can add the ppa for precise using the instructions on that page, once you have it run: sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install hanvon-dkms This will install the driver as supplied from with no extra configuration. Instead all drivers should be installed using a dkms package, these are special packages which will be automatically compiled for you when a new kernel version is installed. Please do not compile drivers, you will loose either security updates or your new driver when you get security updates.
